Factory Default

  1. Remove the wiring cover and rubber insert, then unscrew and remove the rear housing.
  2. Press and hold the reset button for 90 s until the LED flashes rapidly red.
  3. Reassemble the housing and wait for the camera to reboot.

Wiring & PoE Setup

  1. Connect an Ethernet cable from the camera’s RJ45 port to your router or network switch.

  2. For PoE, plug the camera cable into the PoE injector’s LAN port, then connect the injector to your switch:

  3. Alternatively, use the included AC adapter if PoE isn’t available.

Add via Desktop App

Note: Ensure the camera is powered and network-connected.

  1. Open a web browser and go to alarm.com.
  2. Log in with your Brinks Home credentials.
  3. Click Video in the top navigation.

  5. Scroll down and click Add Video Device.

  6. Select ADC-V700X, enter a name, then click Install.

  7. Wait for setup to finish, then click Live View to confirm.

Note: Camera must be online first.

  1. Open the Brinks Home App on your smartphone.
  2. Tap the bottom-bar icon labeled Video.

Troubleshooting

  1. Is the camera offline in your Brinks Home app?
    1. Yes:
      1. Check that the Ethernet cable is securely plugged in.
      2. Verify PoE injector or AC adapter is powered.
      3. Reboot your router or switch.

  2. Is there no live view image?
    1. Confirm the camera lens is unobstructed.
    2. Ensure the camera has fully rebooted after power-cycle.
    3. Check your Brinks Home app settings for any disabled video streams.
  3. Are recordings not appearing?
    1. Make sure your panel or plan supports event-triggered recording.
    2. Verify VMD zones are properly configured in your Alarm.com rules.
