Press both side tabs in with a screwdriver to remove the cover, then remove and replace 3 AA Lithium batteries.

2GIG-CO3-345 Carbon Monoxide Detector:

Twist sensor counter-clockwise to remove from base, then remove and replace CR123A battery.
