How to Program a Door/Window Sensor to a Lynx Plus L3000

Follow the steps below to connect a door/window sensor to the Lynx Plus L3000.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Enter your default installer code 4112, then press 800.

   

   
   
2. Enter an unused zone number between 02 and 25, then press *.





3. Enter the zone type as 01, then press *.





4. Enter the report code (A0) as 10, then press*.





5. Leave the RF type as 3, then press *.





6. Trip the sensor twice by opening the door or window, then press *.





7. Press 1, then enter word descriptors, enter 04 for door or 80 for window. Press 8 to exit the voice descriptor menu. Alternatively, you may press 06 to enter additional words.





8. Press *99 to exit programming mode, then enter 800.
