ADC-VDB770—Cool-Down Mode

The ADC-VDB770 video doorbell camera is rated to operate at temperatures up to 104° F. If the video doorbell camera gets too warm to operate fully, it enters cool-down mode.

Expect the following behaviors if your video doorbell camera enters cool-down mode:

• • Solid yellow LED
• • Notifications are disabled
• • Video recording and video streaming are disabled
• • Video analytics features are disabled, including touchless doorbell
• • Button press indoor chime remains enabled

Once the devices reaches a safe temperature, cool-down mode is exited automatically.

If possible, the video doorbell camera should be installed in a location away from direct sunlight or areas that exceed normal operating temperatures to avoid this issue.
